My Rosie raindrop writing.

 One rainy day Rosie fell to the ground at the point where the river thames start's. Her mission was to find a crying pufferfish who thinks someone had stolen her bag , she got told by officer smith her boss to help this pufferfish.

When Rosie fell in the river she saw green seaweed and dead fish. She thought if the river was polluted. She wasnt even near the pufferfish. when she got to the town she still saw no pufferfishe's but she was also hearing different noises like cars people and moterbike's. rosie quite liked the town's but she still carried on.

When Rosie got to the city's she started seeing fish and eels.she's was so excited! there were a lot of boats passing her.she started thinking if the pufferfish was near.

When Rosie got to London she loved how there was so much space. then she saw this yellow fish, Rosie went up to him and said I'm a detective I'm here to help, what is the prodblem sir?my bag has been stolen' by who? Rosie said, this man wait look there he is. Rosie pounces at the guy. You are under arrest sir for stealling a persons bag! Five minutes later Rosie gave the bag back and went back to her home saftly

Chapter chat 3

 This year our teacher is reading the Hunger Games book to us, the book is by Suzanne Colins. This book has won four awards, The Hal Clement award, California young reader: Young adult, Dorothy Canfield Fisher Children's Book Award and the Fantasy & Science Fiction - Young Adult. Every now and then we will be doing a chapter chat which is reviewing the book and making sure that we understand and are caught up. We will show this by answering the questions that are about that chapters we read. We picked 4 questions and here are my answers to those questions. 

Katniss and Peeta handle the shock of being selected for the Hunger Games in two very different ways. How does Katniss react and how does Peeta react? 

Katniss was feeling frightened although not showing it.

Peeta was the bakers son and because Peeta was buff from lifting the breads and pastries he was still crying and he wasn't afraid to show it.

Are regular people allowed to travel from one District to another?

No. It is ilegal to travel through districts unless it is formal buisness.

Why are mockingjays comforting to Katniss? 

Because when she was younger Katniss and her dad would sing a lot and not only that, the birds were a type of species that could copy someones coversation and mimic it as well. So the bird would always comfort Katniss because the mockingjays would always copy here Dads songs.

Effie angers Katniss during dinner, so what does Katniss do to purposely annoy her? 

Effie Trinket was the lady taking Katniss to the games and Effie annoyed Katniss by telling her a story about 2 ill mannered people and Effie said they were disgusting, so to annoy Effie, Katniss showed bad table manners by wiping her dirty fingers on the table cloth and she also ate her food with her hands. 

Week 5 reflection

Last week on Friday I got a lot of things done on seesaw as well as my contract like my pepeha and my word of the week and much.

Something i enjoyed was doing swimming training because i got to work on freestyle and that for the zones for next week on Friday.

Something i found challeging was doing my reading test and my math test because there was alot of stress on me.

I have worked towards some of my goals by going to my workshops and getting people around to help me understand to but next week i need to focus a bit more and concentrate.

The vaule of mercy means to show empathy to those who are less fortunate by showing kindness to God always.

Week 4 reflection

 My highlight of my week was swimming sports and i made it in for everything including butterfly.

My challenge was doing swimming because i was getting so tierd.

What have you done to walk into the footsteps of Jesus? I have encluded more people into my games like playing rugby.

 

How have you shown mercy?I showed mercy by supporting others at swimming sports.

week 3 reflection

 The highlight of my week was doing swimming races down at the swimming pools.

The thing i found challenging was doing our maths work sheet of place value because i am not very gooad at doing decimals.

Something i want to work on next week is doing work sheets and doing workshops because so i can work on focusing on doing place value a lot.

I showed mercy by playing with the little kids.

Something im looking forward next week is doing swimming races with our own school because i am very competive.

What was the highlight of your week? My highlight of the week was getting house captain at the end of the day on Friday.

What was something you found challenging? Something i found challenging was at the end of our spelling test when things got harder

What was a success you have had? Being a gracious winner by getting house captain for channel

What is something you have learned? While we were doing maths i learned a easy strategy for this maths equation.

 Week 1 reflection 

Week 1 reflection: At the start of the week i felt like i was entering a new learning environment and i was excited for the things to come. I am looking forward that I will come across new challenges along the way. 

My highlight of the week was doing art in our classroom and we started off taking a photo of us then we traced it onto this piece of cardboard stuff then we painted it then it was finished!

Something i found challenging was settling back into school because i had to get up a lot faster this time and i always have to realise that it is school.

About our learning about Angles!

 Today our class learned about angles and we had to use a protractor which is used for measuring angles.There is heaps of type of things that they can measure.They measure acute shapes obtuse shapes and much more.What we had to do at the start is that we had to do a work sheet whiched helped me about how to get the hang of how to measure .After that when i was done we had to go outside and try find find some real stuff to measure.The most intresting thing that i measured that was on the deck and it was 10° which was weird and it was very hard to measure!The hardest thing i measured was a bird house that i did because of the roof and the body.This was very cool to learn about angles and how to use a protractor.

Our awsome planting!

 Today we went out to Lake Ngatu to plant some native trees and we have been learning about the environment keeping it safe.Summit forest and bushlands trust has gatherd about 1000 plants for us to plant.The types of trees that we planted was manuka,konuka,houpara  and much more.

I started of digging with my spade for the plants to go in and we had to do the holes not to big and not to small. After that we had planted couple of some plants then we went to go get a drink of water and we went back to work.After that i have been digging for a while i started to do some planting.We had to carefully put the plants in and bury it as well.

When we were done we went to go have lunch out infront of Lake Ngatu.Then we all packed up and we went back to school.What i liked about doing this activity was that we were helping the environment.

 

Local legends

 Last week we had to find some research on a web site about a famous New Zealander and i did Richie McCaw. We had to find about there place of birth and there date of birth there early life and what is he well known for. I chose Richie McCaw because he is one of my favorite New Zealander. 

Moment in time!

 As I am at the  top of the mountain I feel frightened as a demon! I want to look down but i cant.  As i breath in and out my mind is going around circles. Then I jump! I start to go faster and faster as a speeding flash! As i look around i start to see cliffs i am terrified! I am desperately crying to get on the ground. Then I cruse though the narrow trees then i glide up and deploy my parachute.I am saved! I look down and i landed like i was on the moon.

going to level 1!!

This week on Monday 8/6 2020 Jacinda announced we were going to level 1 at 12 PM i was feeling really happy when i knew that we were  going to level 1 because we would  able to do a hole heap more and that life would kinda go back to normal and shop will be restoring more products into shops


Since that we are at alert level 1 we will be able to travel over New Zealand but we cant travel over seas. Soon i will be going on holiday down south in New Zealand.
people who live in  New zealand and are over at diffrent countries soon they will be able to come back to New Zealand but i think they will be in isolation when they come back.

about my weekend

During lockdown my family were allowed to go up to the farm because mum and dads job as farmers they needed to look after the cows on the farm so on Friday last week was my birthday and went up to our other farm for target practicing with a 22 rifle gun it was one of my Dads friend Mickeys Gun. What i shoot for target practicing was plastic milk cartons. Me and my sister put one up in the tree and one on the ground so me and my sister ran back and i layed down on the ground with the 22 and i loaded the gun and i aimed at the milk carteen and i breathed out then bang! You missed said my dad and my sister so i reloaded it and i got my target then bang! You shoot it! said my dad so i did more other shoots then we went down to our other farm.

When we got down to our other farm i went on this small digger and i had to get these lumps out of ground so drived over there than my cousin Brydie came and she told to put the buket out and pull it back in so i kept on doing that and i cleared out the drain. On the next day we went to our farm to drench our cows i had to get the cows ready to get the cows up the heading race  to get drench by my sister and my dad had to trim the cows tails of so that there tails wont be dangling by there feet. so we kept on doing that to the cows and we put them back into there padecks.

After that we went up to our other farm to pick mushrooms My mum and dad and my sister

About me in lockdown

What ive been doing in lockdown is going up to the farm and doing a lot of things.What i dont like about being in lockdown is doing your work at home because i would be rather doing my work at school.

What i have liked being in lockdown is helping around the house and mowing the lawns and unloading the dishwasher.Also what i have liked is we get to go up to our farm and shift the cattle.

This is just to say...

The other day we had to write a poem 
but we had to use the same format structure which
was made by William Carlos Williams.
What i think i need to improve on my work is trying
to make the reader read more so it can get to a higher
standard.William Carlos Williams poem was about eating
plums my was about chocolate cake.We had to write our
poems on google slides.On google slides we had to put
a image that fits our poem.

Weeks ago we had to draw a heart check and we had to draw it on a A4 piece of paper.
We had to use 2 colers for the

After that we had to draw black paint on them. After that our teacher put them on the wall.
